- Explore is Structure 12 as a deck: the eight verb phrases of the manual grouped by function (set the goal · keep going · get past a setback), a tap-to-match between phrase and situation, the mindset word list with the growth/fixed contrast and a register note, the collocation card (goals · obstacles · motivation · put your mind to it · separable turn down) and the pitfall list.
- Build is productive: students assemble the collocation by choosing the verb or the little words (exercises A and C), then transform — typing the mindset word (exercise B) or rewriting the two pitfall sentences.
- Drill is one graded engine of 13 items (★ get in the way, growth, set a goal, willpower, the missing article in get in the way · ★★ overcome, stay motivated, aptitude, fixed · ★★★ turn it down, courage to + base, break it down, put my mind to it) with score, streak and a best score kept on the device.
