💡 How it works

Shift the spotlight — into the future

You met the passive in Grammar 4 (be + past participle) and predictions in Grammar 10 (will, going to). The future passive joins them: put be into the future — will be + past participle — to say what will be made, worn and sold when the doer is unknown, obvious or unimportant. (Pasiva de futuro: will + be + participio; el agente se omite si es obvio o no importa.)

👩‍🏫 For the teacher — how this page maps to the manual
      • Explore is Grammar 12's active → future-passive table as a spotlight (will, won't, question, going to, by a famous artist, two objects, will have been), colour-coding new subject / auxiliary / participle / by-phrase, with the doer toggle (unknown, obvious or unimportant → drop it) and "Predict first". The dial lists every form the section teaches (will be, won't be, question order, going to be, modal + be, future perfect passive, present passive after when/if). The special-cases card is the exceptions box; the errors card is the pitfall box plus the error hunts (exercise D, Task set 25).
      • Build is productive: students assemble the passive by choosing the auxiliary and the participle (exercises B–C), then transform active sentences, deciding about the doer (exercise B, C3, Task set 25, Unit test B), with validation.
      • Drill merges the exercises into one graded engine (★ identify, complete, negative, going to, question · ★★ fix the participle, don't drop be, modal passive · ★★★ present after when, two objects, future perfect passive, keep the doer?) with a score and streak.
      • Works offline. Reading/writing only — no audio.
