💡 How it works

There is no single “future tense” — set your certainty

English chooses a form to show how sure you are. Pick a prediction about technology and slide the thermometer: the modal changes, the base verb stays. (El modal marca la certeza; el verbo base no cambia.)

1 · Choose a prediction

2 · Slide the certainty thermometer

modal / adverbbase verb
📍 Adverb position: will probably fall (after will) · probably won’t fall (before won’t).
🕒 The timeline

Which form for which moment?

Choose a form, then move the marker with a time expression. The drawing shows what kind of future you mean: a point, an action in progress, or an action completed before a point. (La expresión de tiempo te dice qué forma usar.)

👩‍🏫 For the teacher — how this page maps to the manual
    • Explore is Grammar 10 in two axes: the certainty thermometer (won’t → probably won’t → may/might/could → will probably → will definitely, with adverb position) and the timeline (will for a prediction, going to for present evidence, future continuous for an action in progress at a moment, future perfect for an action completed before a point, with their time markers). The special-cases card covers will vs going to, by / this time / at, present after time linkers, won’t vs might not, and timetables / arrangements / about to / shall; the errors card is the manual’s pitfall list.
    • Build is productive: students assemble a prediction by choosing the time expression and the form (exercises A and B), then transform prompts into predictions with validation (exercises B, D and the error clinic).
    • Drill merges the quizzes into one graded engine (★ evidence vs opinion, certainty, form choice · ★★ fix the error (will to, when … will), complete, adverb position · ★★★ future perfect vs simple, future continuous, time clauses, going to) with a score and streak.
    • Works offline. Reading/writing only — no audio.
