I am an Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Facultad de Ingenieria, Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro, Mexico. Member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI, Candidate Level – SECIHTI).
My research focuses on mathematical optimization applied to chemical process engineering. I develop and apply metaheuristic algorithms, mathematical programming formulations (NLP/MINLP/MILP), and artificial neural networks to the design and optimization of process equipment, supply chains, and biorefineries.
Author of 9 JCR journal articles, 2 Scopus-indexed articles, 7 book chapters (Springer, Elsevier, CYTED, De Gruyter), and 20+ peer-reviewed conference papers.
Research interests
